Become a Volunteer

Volunteers play a huge role in Neighbourhood Houses around Victoria.

In 2015 alone more than 6,200 Victorians contributed an average total of 63 volunteer hours per week! You can be part of this wonderful story.

Heyfield Community Resource Centre can offer volunteers the following areas to dedicate time to:

  • Preparing, cooking or serving community lunches

  • Administration and customer service duties

  • Hands on work in our community garden

  • General maintenance and ground work

  • Tutoring for classes

Volunteering is a great way to meet friends, build new skills and contribute to the community. Drop into the Resource Centre to find out more.
